Conservatory Roof Replacement Towcester
Our workshop is at Overstone Grange Farm in Moulton, which is a ten minute run down the A43 into Towcester. We are not a national firm subcontracting the work out, and the surveyor who prices your job works with the fitters who build it.
Most of the conservatories we re-roof around Towcester went up between the late 1990s and the mid 2000s, which means polycarbonate on a white uPVC frame. Those roofs hold no heat. The room is cold from November, unusable in a July heatwave, and rain on the panels carries through the whole house.
We replace that roof with a solid tiled one built around a custom timber frame, cut to the measurements of your conservatory rather than assembled from a kit. Timber conducts far less heat than aluminium and gives us the depth for proper insulation, bringing the roof to a U-value of 0.15, better than the roof over the rest of your house. A ventilated void above the insulation keeps moisture out of the structure.
